Remember that Vigo Airport has this carrusel despite only having flights from within Spain.
But you can’t deny smaller airports are pretty cool

I love the airport in Kahului Maui. It’s open air so as soon as you step off from the plane you can feel the warm soft air envelope you.

if I ever feel useless, I remind myself that there are people whose job it is to install turn signals on BMWs.

The Bismarck, ND airport is a pretty neat, small airport. Everybody was always so nice when I was flying out of there for work.

I think the airport doesn’t even have an exclusion zone, you have houses right againts the taxiway; its like a badly planned city in a videogame!

Small airports are good, I hate international clusterfucked airports

Same deal with the airport in Faaa, Tahiti. As soon as you step of the plane, it’s hot, humid, and probably dark. (The regularly scheduled flights coming in are either early in the morning or late at night).

Of all places I’d think Palm Springs would have a large airport... now idea why

It’s actually quite small, maybe 8 gates. It was spring break when I was there so it was a bit of a mad house.

In practice Tijuana had a flight to Tokyo (It was just the AeroMexico 767 refueling to make it to Mexico City)
I like long and skinny routes. Smaller airports are almost always better
